Proud
owners of this fine breeding ranch, Aase and Duane Frederick
have been breeding and selling "fine homegrown alpacas"
since 2000. Starting off their alpaca adventure in
Creston, a tiny town in the Central Coast area of
California, they decided to move to Yreka in 2003, mainly to
get away from the high heat Summers of the Paso Robles Wine
Country! They are so blessed and lucky
to have found this little gem of a ranch, situated on 25
acres of pasture and oak trees, just outside the city limits
of Yreka, which is located in Siskiyou County (in Northern California).
Our ranch is located just off Hwy I-5, just half-way
between Mount Shasta in California and Ashland
in Southern Oregon.
SERIOUS HERD REDUCTION
Duane has had his surgery and everything went well, thank
God! He is now in the recovery period, which basically
means, no lifting or twisting for two months, then a gradual
return to light duty over the next two months, VERY gradual
(but you know Duane, gradual is a word to him that means
different things than it does to me!) - "WONDER WOMAN" is
crying "uncle"... We are now down to about 32 animals that
we actually own and still have 30 more that are either
agisting and paying, or just living here for free, because I
made some choices last year to make taking care of these
animals more important than the money! That cannot
keep happening, so the owners of these animals are more than
willing to DEAL -
Package 1 - Autumn Nutmeg, daughter Diane and son
Robby Redford, both Diane and Robby are ATV Valiant kids,
Nutmeg is a good mom and is pregnant and due with a cria in
the Spring of 2008 - she is bred to Silver Sage son "Primo
Negra", a very dark silver gray "silky" EBA Herdsire - I
believe that Nutmeg could very easily produce a gray cria,
but you have to own her before she gives birth to find out!
Package is $17,500. Individual prices: Autumn
Nutmeg, Diana, and Robby (he is a lovely little fiber boy).
Make a serious offer on any or all of them and I am sure the
owner will seriously consider ANY decent offer, as she is in
no way able to care for these animals herself and has
nowhere else to put them (she lives in Mt Shasta). All
are ARI Registered...
Robby Redford (Fiber Boy)
Diane (15 mo)
Discounts available
- make a serious offer, this owner is EXTREMELY
motivated to sell this package!

Autumn Nutmeg is bred to this sire

"PRIMO" (a LV
Silver Sage son) he is very dark silver gray (DSG)
WE NEED TO REDUCE OUR HERD DOWN
TO ABOUT 25 ANIMALS - THAT'S RIGHT, WE HAVE TO SELL
MORE THAN HALF OUR HERD AND ALL THE ANIMALS THAT
ARE BEING BROKERED WILL BE SOLD TO ANYONE THAT GIVES US A
DECENT AND SERIOUS OFFER - NOW I DO MEAN "REDUCTION" SALE,
NOT YOUR $25k REDUCTION SALE, I CANNOT EVEN PUBLISH THE
PRICES WE ARE WILLING TO ACCEPT, BECAUSE SOME ARE GOING TO
BE UPSET THAT THE MARKET WILL BE AFFECTED BY THESE KIND OF
PRICES, WHICH IS NOT WHAT I AM TRYING TO DO, I AM TRYING TO
SAVE WHAT I CAN OF MY RANCH AND FIND HOMES FOR ALL THESE
VERY BEAUTIFUL AND VALUABLE GIRLS AND BOYS. WE WILL BE
HOLDING ON TO A CORE HERD OF OUR CHOOSING AND THE REST WILL
GO.
THE ONLY CRITERIA IS THAT THEY HAVE TO GO TO PEOPLE THAT
ARE SERIOUS ALPACA FARMERS, EXPERIENCED ALPACA FARMERS OR
BRAND NEW, DOESN'T MATTER TO US, IF YOU ARE GOING TO GIVE
THEM AN EXCELLENT HOME AND ARE WILLING TO LEARN - WE ARE
WIDELY KNOWN AND APPRECIATED FOR OUR EXCELLENT MENTORING
SKILLS AND WE DO MEAN HELPFUL AND COMPLETE MENTORING, NOT
JUST CASHING YOUR CHECK AND SAYING "GOOD LUCK TO YOU"!
I AM ALSO WELL AWARE THAT WRITING IN ALL CAPITAL LETTERS,
IN COMPUTER LANGUAGE, IS SHOUTING - I AM SHOUTING,
I NEED TO MOVE THESE ANIMALS AND I MEAN NOW, IF NOT SOONER
- SURGERY WILL BE SCHEDULED WHEN WE SEE THE BACK
SURGEON ON NOVEMBER 10TH, THAT IS NEXT MONDAY, SO START
CONTACTING ME NOW PLEASE.
I will do my very best to have pictures and details on
all these animals on the website or AlpacaNation or both
within the next few days, but let me reiterate, this is very
serious and the offer is very serious, so don't lose out on
getting some of the best bloodlines in the country for the
price we can only discuss person to person, I will not be
publish or discuss what you paid for them, that will
be between us and you.
Email Aase@4fast.net
or call - my cell number is 530-340-0660 or leave a message
on my home phone 530-842-3504 and I will return your call as
soon as I can.
Regards,
Aase and Duane

Located in one of the most scenic areas in all of California
and almost in the shadow of majestic MT Shasta, the climate
and altitude (about 2600 ft) is ideal for alpaca farming -
not too hot in the Summer and not too cold in the Winter.
Close to wonderful camping and fishing locations - think
Klamath River! All in all it is a wonderful place to
live the "small town" life we love so much now and yet, we
are only 40 miles away from the culture and ambience of
famous Ashland in Oregon and, if you head South, you
are in the Mt Shasta ski area.
We currently have almost sixty alpacas on our place, a few
are boarders and some are being brokered. Our
own herd runs around 30, give or take... this year we are
lucky enough to have produced a cria crop of eleven little
proud and gorgeous cria, some lovely girls and some
some very nice potential Jr Herdsires!
Our
alpacas have the color and the genetics everyone is looking for:
-
Peruvian Hemingway
-
Snowmass Highlander
-
MFI Dom Timbo
-
MFI Kaluah
-

Pictured below is Hemingway "Tennessee's Jason of Argonaut"
Half sister Tennessee's Amber Joy

"Tennessee's Amber Joy" (born in June of 2007).
If you would like to "Show" her at the California Shows or AWE etc,
in 2009, contact us now
- She is a guaranteed winner. They just don't get
any better than that!
Both of these cria are amazing proof of the
very best of Hemingway Tennessee's abilities as a National Champion
Herdsire. His amazing brightness and other unique fleece traits
have definitely been passed on to both of these little beauties!
We love ranch visits!
If you are
heading up or down Highway 5 and want to stop in to
admire both scenery and the animals... please do, we love to talk
